I eternally see her figure eternally vanishing

I eternally see her figure eternally vanishing, 2014

Konstantinos Manolakis

Sinopale 5, “Clusters and Crystals: Observing at Point Zero”
Curator: Dimitrina Sevova

Two marble plates, both engraved in Turkish and English with a fragment of a letter written by the poet John Keats.

The stones are placed on both of Sinop’s opposing shores and exposed to the tidal waves of the sea. Over a long period of time, the stones will be washed out from the sea and the engravings will vanish slowly.
