Tarzan Kemal Trail – Sinopale8

Tarzan Kemal Trail

Tarzan Kemal Trail, 2014

Serkan Taycan

Sinopale 5, “Clusters and Crystals: Observing at Point Zero”
Curator: Işın Önol

Tarzan Kemal was in love with nature and animals. He has refused the civilization and tried to live distant from it like a contemporary Diogenes.

A dervish who reminds the lost relation with the nature of the urban dweller.

The trail drifts through all the places where Tarzan Kemal has tread upon. It aims to transform the city into a place for experiences which are out of the daily routine of the citizens. It converges the history of the city and the individuals. By creating a psycho geographic map, it invites people to experience the city through the world of Tarzan Kemal.
