Kristina Heinrichs developed a procedure of notation with which she visualizes the traces of movement in the public sphere. The hole pattern and the network on the paper, the crossings and consolidations illustrate her sphere of spatial research. The series Spacial Drawings translates everyday occurrences in a graphic network of relationships. Therefor Heinrichs uses film exposures from bird’s eye view from which she extracts positions of emerging pedestrians. The single coordinates of positions are connected to a coherent netting of lines trough rules defined by the artist. These linings will be layered one above the other, every colour defines a single time scale. So a short period of time expiration is visualized in a fixed, graphical figure.
