Looking for the original vegetation of Sinop and trying to find out if there is a relation to the floral patterns in the original embroidery of the region, a lot of information is collected by talking with the citizens.
This information has been the inspiration for the piece ‘Growing Memories’. The paper cut outs are fragments of plants of the region. Pieces of text referring to the making process are composed together with drawings of local vegetation in a pattern of typical embroidery of Sinop.
