Bridgend 17 was produced after 17 young people aged between 18-25 committed suicide in the same year in Bridgend, Wales. The artist lived for four days in Bridgend in order to collect, with a small touristic camera, images of this small city and draw the visual archaeology of these suicides. Additionally, he created a text relating to the geographical and social structure of Bridgend from the news on these suicide events published in the Daily Telegraph, and he produced this quasi documentary film with this text read by Gordon Griffin, the famous dubbing artist, accompanied by the gathered images.
